hiking to Sunol Regional Wilderness Park this Saturday, April 10th

Dear Friends, 
 
I am going to organize a hiking trip to Sunol Regional Wilderness Park in east bay this Saturday, April 10th. You are welcome to join this trip.
 
The address of the park is 1895 Geary Road, Sunol, CA. This 6,859-acre park offers numerous hiking trails and is exceptional during Spring time when you can see wild flowers. For more information including the park map, you can check http://www.ebparks.org/parks/sunol .
 
For this trip, we will gather at the park visitor center by 2:15pm and then hike inside the park for about about 3 hours. We will hike a 4-mile loop from Canyon View Trail -->  Indian Joe Creek Trail --> Cave Rocks Road --> High Valley Road --> Flag Hill Road. For those who want to hike more, 2 miles can be added in the middle of the loop (Indian Joe Creek Trail --> Eagle View Road --> Vista Grande Road --> High Valley Road). The returning time from the park is around 5:30pm. 

The driving direction from Milpitas to the park is to go I-880 N for 4 miles, then go east on Mission Blvd for 1.5 mile, take I-680 for 8.7 miles, take Calaveras Rd/State Hwy 84 W exist toward Sunol, turn right at Calaveras Rd for 4 mile, turn left into Geary Rd for 2.2 miles to get into the park. Park entrance fee is $5 per car.

Our primary carpool location is Milpitas 99 Ranch Market (338 Barber Lane, Milpitas, CA) and we meet there at 1:30pm for carpool. Carpool cost will be shared among participants (around $3 per person for gas and park entrance fee, given to the driver directly).
